Louie is Chattaflats' first home bred Flatcoat puppy and
Champion.  He was a singleton so the whelping box initially
looked quite empty.  His bright-eyed presence and sweetness
filled the box and our hearts.  His registered name Chattaflats I
Get Ideas is from a little love song done by Louie Armstrong.
But, I have to tell you that he gets plenty of ideas all on his own.

Louie's first time in the show ring was in Rochester, MN at the
FCRSA National Specialty.  Louie took first place in his large 6-9
month Puppy Sweepstakes class.  He also made the cut in his
regular 6-9 month class.  A very good start for Louie's show

Louie finished his AKC Championship with limited showing.
His first major was at the Raleigh, NC 2008 cluster.   He finished
at the April 26, 2009 Cahaba Kennel Club show in Montgomery,
AL going Winners Dog and Best Opposite Sex over a special for
a 4 point major.

In the Summer of 2008, Louie obtained his AKC Junior Hunter
Title with four passes in a row.  He received his Senior Hunter
title in the summer if 2010.  He loves the field whether training or
pheasant hunting.  Louie is now working on his Master Hunter
title.  Louie earned his Working Certificate on 6/5/2009 at the
Rhode Island FCRSA National Specialty.
